With its rich marbled texture and bold, expressive character, Babele leather adds a distinctive touch to any timepiece. Each of these Babele leather watch straps is handcrafted in my atelier, designed for those who value individuality and artisanal quality.
Sourced from Conceria Tempesti in Tuscany, Babele is a full-grain, vegetable-tanned leather with a signature cloudy grain created through a unique layering and dyeing process. The result is a strap with beautiful tonal variations, soft temper, and a matte surface that evolves gracefully over time.
Just like all Roiberd straps, this model is fully customizable: from lug width, strap length, and taper, to thread color, lining, buckle style, and edge finish. If you’d like to reuse your own buckle, I’ll gladly incorporate it into the build.
Each strap is cut and saddle-stitched by hand using Meisi linen thread, then lined with premium Zermatt leather for comfort and sweat resistance. Edges are carefully finished by hand, either painted or burnished depending on your preferences.
